On Feb. 20, the chancellor delivered the CSU Super Sunday message in Orange County as other CSU leaders spoke to dozens of congregations in northern California. CSU Chancellor Charles B. Reed addresses the congregation at Christ Our Redeemer in Irvine, telling students, parents and their supporters that college is affordable, accessible and essential to a successful career.

Cal State East Bay President Mo Qayoumi addressed two separate services about the benefits and accessibility of a college education through the California State University on Super Sunday at Glad Tidings Church of God in Christ in Hayward.

CSU Monterey Bay President Dianne Harrison, speaking at Greater Victory Temple in Seaside, said “let’s all work together to make sure children – your children – take advantage of the educational opportunities offered at the CSU so they become the educated minds that will take California to the next stage of economic prosperity.”

Felicia A. Bessent, St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church parishioner and Sacramento State alumna shares her experience with Sacramento State Provost Joseph Sheley after he spoke at the service.
