For the second year, the CSU Media Arts Festival will be presented during the Fall Digital Hollywood media conference at the Skirball Cultural Center. Students, faculty, and guests are able to attend the three-day Digital Hollywood conference in addition to the MAF screening and awards ceremony.

CSU Media Arts Festival – Wednesday, November 13, 2019
Digital Hollywood – Tuesday, November 12 – Thursday, October 14, 2019

You can attend just the MAF, or the MAF and Digital Hollywood. The MAF is free for all attendees. CSU Students who entered the MAF competition this year (both finalists and non-finalists) and this year’s Faculty Judges are able to attend Digital Hollywood for free (registration will be through the MAF). All other CSU Students and Faculty/Staff will register to attend Digital Hollywood at a substantially discounted cost. This registration is a direct transaction with Digital Hollywood. The CSU Media Arts Festival is not able to assist with transactions between patrons and Digital Hollywood.

Begin your reservations for the MAF and Digital Hollywood via this link:

Attendees interested to attend the MAF and Digital Hollywood must register by Friday, November 1, 2019. After that date, we are no longer able to extend the complimentary admission to Digital Hollywood for those who may be eligible.

After you register to attend the MAF, you will receive information and updates via email.

Parking for all attendees is complimentary. You are strongly encouraged to arrive early as large crowds are expected. Once the parking lots are full, you will be out of luck. There is no other nearby parking, not even street parking. We would not want for you to drive all the way to the event only to find that there are no parking spaces and you have to return home.

If you have suggestions for MAF programming, forward them to Shannon Pringle, Director at We welcome your ideas.
