Wild 949 Internship | Northern California

WiLD949 is apart of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment. With 243 million monthly listeners in the U.S. Clear Channel Media and Entertainment has the largest reach of any radio and television outlet in America.

And doing your internship here in San Francisco you’ll be working in the number four market in the country!

What Students will learn?

They will learn how a successful morning show in a major market runs on a daily basis. You’ll be involved in the preproduction of the show. You will be doing things like helping update our station website, work with our different social media sites, assist the executive producer and producer with any tasks that may need to be completed. Screen phone calls, some clerical work and IF you have any video production skills that is a plus, but not needed to be an intern on our morning show.


Must have a passion to want to learn about the broadcasting industry. Be enrolled in a credited college and taking and internship course to receive credit for the internship.


Must be available to work early mornings from 5-5:30am to 10am.

Days will depend on scheduling of other interns, but it can be any day Monday thru Friday.
