Solar power capacity at the CSU has more than doubled in the past five years, and is proposed to double again by the end of 2012. That information is part of a report released today, titled “The CSU Commitment to Sustainability.” The report coincides with a month-long CSU focus on sustainability issues.
“Universities are the training ground for a better, greener future,” said CSU Chancellor Charles B. Reed. “We teach our students to deal with tomorrow’s problems and our campuses are living laboratories of sustainable practices.”
