Eco-osk, a student initiated project, provides SFSU with a unique educational opportunity utilizing an innovative technology. The Eco-osk serves as a visual and symbolic landmark to the school’s dedication to sustainability.

In addition to showcasing green technology on campus, the unit serves as an educational resource to inform students, staff and faculty about current practices and future plans for improving SFSU sustainability. Envisioned content includes current recycling and composting services, goals for the Sustainable Campus Initiative, information on the Master Plan, and suggestions for individuals to reduce their ecological footprint.
