Cal Poly PowerSave Program Wins So Cal Competition to Reduce Water and Energy Usage in Student Dorms

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s chapter of the PowerSave Campus Program won a Southern California competition to reduce water and energy consumption on campus. The SoCal PowerSave League win is part of the 2014 Campus Conservation Nationals.

Cal Poly had an average reduction of 2.9 percent, beating out UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly Pomona with reductions of .6 percent and .5 percent, respectively. More…
