CSULB Press Release

California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) held a ceremony today (Thursday, Aug. 16) to recognize a gift of two 240-volt electric vehicle chargers dedicated to Doug Korthof, a passionate advocate for plug-in cars, who passed away in February.  The event was held in Parking Structure 1 on the CSULB campus.

Korthof, a long-time Seal Beach resident, was an alumnus and former faculty member at CSULB, where he met his wife, Lisa Rosen.  He served as a lecturer in the information systems and math departments from 1981-87. More…
