The Next 50 Years

In 1960, few dreamed that California State University would become the largest state university system in the world. Fifty years after its inception, the CSU is a national leader in providing affordable, accessible and high quality education for its students. The CSU trains students to be leaders in the 21st century workforce. CSU graduates are making monumental impacts on their local communities and helping to make the state of California economically sound and culturally diverse.

What will the CSU look like fifty years from now? Who imagined CSU students would be the first to discover planets outside our solar system? Or the CSU would be home to only university-run organic dairy in the western U.S.?
